Catering Venues

University Catering manages the University Dining Hall - East Banquet Room and the Vintage Room at the University Center Building. We handle reservations, room setups and rentals for these venues.

Physical distancing is required at any event where food and beverages are being served and guests are required to remove their masks. Both venues will utilize a set layout that accommodates six feet of physical distance until the requirement is lifted. The maximum occupancy in the Vintage Room is 30 guests (ten round tables with three chairs each). The maximum occupancy in the University Dining Hall – East Banquet Room is 72 guests (twenty-four round tables with three chairs each). Please contact the Catering department for further details.

University Dining Hall – East Banquet Room

  • The UDH - East Banquet Room is available Sunday-Saturday. A minimum order of $500 is required for events held in the venue on a Sunday
  • The UDH - East Banquet Room daily rental fee is $800. The rental fee may be waived for campus departments only with a minimum $400 University Catering food and beverage order
  • There is a $150 room setup & teardown fee per day for all reservations
  • Only food prepared and provided by University Catering is allowed inside the UDH - East Banquet Room. Cakes maybe brought in with prior approval from University Catering
  • All food must be consumed on the premises; for health and safety reasons absolutely no food shall be taken from the event venue
  • Reservation of the UDH - East Banquet Room grants you and your guest’s access to the room and the lobby area/restrooms only. The West Dining Room and buffet line (including salad bar, desserts and beverage stations) are for resident students and those that have purchased a meal at the UDH only. Access to the kitchen, preparation, and employee or buffet areas within the University Dining Hall is not allowed
  • Decorations are limited to items that can stand on the floor or a table. Nothing may be attached to the walls or ceiling - no tape, pushpins, nails, staples etc. All items must be removed from the UDH - East Banquet Room at the conclusion of the event
  • The UDH - East Banquet Room may not be used for regularly scheduled classes or recurring meetings
  • Classroom Services provides technical support for the projector, screen, TVs and sound. You must provide your own laptop and cords to attach to A/V equipment. Should you have issues, questions or need to reserve additional equipment, please contact Classroom Services at 559.278.2674
  • University Catering food & beverage orders must be submitted two (2) weeks prior to the event date; if University Catering does not receive your order by the deadline, the room will be released and offered to another campus group

Vintage Room

  • The Vintage Room is available Sunday-Saturday. A minimum order of $500 is required for events held in the venue on a Sunday
  • The Vintage Room daily rental fee is $400. The rental fee may be waived for campus departments only with a minimum $200 University Catering food and beverage order
  • There is a $150 room setup & teardown fee per day for all reservations
  • Only food prepared and provided by University Catering is allowed inside the Vintage Room. Cakes may be brought in with prior approval from University Catering
  • All food must be consumed on the premises; for health and safety reasons absolutely no food shall be taken from the event venue
  • Reservation of the Vintage Room grants you and your guest’s access to the room and the adjoining restrooms only. Access to the kitchen, preparation and other restaurants within the University Center building is not allowed
