University Dining Services

University Dining Hall Policies and Procedures

  1. We ask that you please take your dishes, glassware, and silverware to the dish room window. This is a key element to keeping the cost of your meal plans down.
  2. You are not permitted to take dishes, glassware, or silverware from the University Dining Hall.
  3. Sack meals are available for resident students on a meal plan in lieu of lunch or dinner (not breakfast) and can be picked up between 7:00am-10:30am, Monday through Friday. You are allowed only ONE sack meal during any given meal period. Sack lunches are not available on Saturdays and Sundays.
  4. Sick trays are available for resident students on a meal plan in the event you are ill and are unable to eat at the Dining Hall. Sick trays may be picked up for the ill individual by another person with the appropriate Bulldog Card. Abuse of this policy will result in disciplinary action.
  5. We do not provide refunds for missed, skipped, or unused meals.
  6. If you have special dietary needs, please contact Megan Sarantos, Director of Dining Services, at 559.278.4345 or mesarantos@csufresno.edu. We will be happy to work with you to meet your individual dietary needs.
  7. Shoes and shirts are required for entrance into the University Dining Hall.
  8. The University Dining Hall is a wheels-off area; skateboards, scooters and rollerblades are not allowed inside.
  9. To ensure a pleasant experience for all of our guests, we ask that you limit your time to a maximum of 90 minutes per swipe/purchase.
  10. Any unauthorized holes punched in your Bulldog Card (ID card) may require total card replacement at the resident’s expense. The magnetic strip on the back of your card is sensitive, so please take care of your card.
  11. All food must be consumed within the University Dining Hall with one exception: resident students on a meal plan may take one piece of whole fruit, one cookie, one wrapped sandwich, one bag of chips, or one ice cream cone. To-go containers are not available, and the use of any personal to-go container will result in disciplinary action.
